Solution : Talk to 3-4 students of any coaching institute and ask the coaching institute to declare their Success Ratio and final college placements and then assess the coaching institute.
Mistake 2: Not Practicing enough Numerical problems whilst JEE preparation
Reality : JEE is a problem-solving-based exam, and rote learning won't work. Many students focus on theoretical understanding but lack application skills.
Solution : Solve a variety of numerical problems daily, covering different difficulty levels. Prioritize conceptual understanding over memorization.
Mistake 3: Overloading with multiple coaches, books or Apps
Reality : The one common trait amongst all JEE / NEET Toppers in the past many years has been that they predominantly followed the coaching model of only one set of mentors / coaching institute. Staying focussed on a single path enables you to go deeper and accomplish more academic goals. Remember the adage, Too many cooks spoil the broth !
Solution : Stick to one coaching institute and one set of study material only. For Testing, you may refer to multiple sources however in the last 6 months of preparation.
